The Venue

The venue is a heated hall with spectators stands. There is place for dog’s crates in the hall as well as in a seperate room. The surface of the competition ring is Juta artificial grass (same as in AWC Liberec)

Electronic timing system will be used at the competition. The results will be directly uploaded to a computer and visible on the screens by the ring entrance. Moreover, there will be a wi-fi network available only to view starting lists and results updated after each competitor in real time.

The Program

Friday: agility teams, jumping teams
Saturday: agility individual, jumping individual
Sunday: jumping individual, agility final

The detailed program of the competition will be published after the entries are closed.

The competition will be held in the following height categories:

XS (less than 28 cm at the withers) – jump height 20 cm
Small (less than 35 cm at the withers) – jump height 30 cm
Medium (from 35 cm and less than 43 cm at the withers) – jump height 40 cm
ML (from 43 cm and less than 50 cm at the withers) – jump height 50 cm
Large (from 43 cm at the withers) – jump height 60 cm

Dogs measuring less than 28 cm at the withers can be entered either to XS or S category. Dogs measuring from 43 and less than 50 cm at the withers can be entered either to ML or L category. It is not possible to change height category once the competition starts. We require the height of dog in cm to be written in the working book by an agility judge. There will be possibility to measure your dog before the competition begins.

Competition is open to all dogs older than 18 months and will be held in five height classes: XS (up to 28 cm), S (less than 35 cm at the withers), M (less than 43 cm), mini large (less than 50 cm) and large. Open runs only (no exams)

Entries will be open on 30.09.2019 at 6:00 p.m. CET
Entry fee – 45 Euro per 3 days
Limit: 210 competitors. The organizers reserve the right to raise the limit of entries by 50 and allocate those places at their discretion.

-Handler Name and Surname
-Country, Clubname
-Dog’s:
° petname and pedigree name
° Working book/Licence Number
° Breed, Pedigreenumber, Chipnumber
° Date of Birth, Gender

The accepted entries will be given reference numbers which have to be written in the bank transfer. The transfers without the reference number will be sent to charity 🙂 .
The entry fee must be paid by bank transfer before 11.10.2019 (the date of cash inflow is taken into account)
If after this date the limit is not filled, the reference numbers will be given to next entries on the reserve list.

The entry fee is not refundable. If after paying the entry fee one wants to withdraw from the competition, one may find a person to fill their spot and settle accounts with that person.

The competition is open to Polish Kennel Club members as well as members of other organizations belonging to or affiliated with FCI.
The dogs taking part in the competition must be at least 18 months old, have tattoo or chip and valid anti rabies vaccination.
The handler (or their legal caretaker) is responsible for all damage done by the dog.
Please pick up after your dogs.
Team runs:
A team consists of minimum 3 and maximum 4 dogs in the categories:
-XS and S together
-M, ML and L together
The best 3 results count. The team members run one after another in the order as chosen by the team.
Please send the teams before the 10.01.2020 to teams@SilesianOpen.dog
If you don’t send your team before that deadline, you’ll be assigned to a random team in your category lacking team members
Individual:
50% of dogs from each height category will qualify to the final (that is approximately ⅙ first dogs from each of three individual runs).
The exact number of dogs qualifying from each runs will be determined after the starting lists are closed.
If a dog is qualified to a final after the first individual run, its next result won’t count and the next ranking team in that class moves up until the limit for each class in the finals is reached.
